Wednesday Night Gravel Ride

Now at at 5:30pm from Bicycle Express

Routes/Distance: 
Local routes vary weekly. Around 20 miles, less than 2k of climbing. Wrapped by 6:30pm. Lights are mandatory as we will be bumping up against sunset.

Pace: 
Around 13mph, depending on the route. Not a drop ride!!

The Dirt

Join us on November 9th at 10am for a gravel event raising money for the Vermont Foodbank. This is a fun end-of-season ride that supports a great cause. Your $45 registration fee covers food, drink, a raffle ticket, and insurance for the event, and the rest is donated.

Both the 31 and 42 mile routes will be starting from the shop in Waterbury. You can expect plenty of climbing, beautiful roads, and great vibes all day long. Special thanks to our sponsors Frost Beer Works and The Bike Fitter LLC.

WDR Gravel Ride

Women’s Drop Ride
Tuesday evenings @ 5:30pm from Bicycle Express

What's the deal?

The Women's Drop Ride was founded by Liz Wolf and Sarah Livingston with the mission of "providing a weekly ride that cultivates a welcoming community where women can ride hard while holding space for all speeds, abilities, and experience".

"GET GROADY" women's gravel + road ride

Where and When?: Friday mornings at 7 am in the Bicycle Express parking lot

Routes/Distance: Local routes vary weekly. We'll post to the Get Groady and Bicycle Express clubs on Strava. Under 25 miles every Friday, under 2k of climbing. Average of an hour and a half per ride.

Pace: Choose your own pace: Drop ride for SPICY riders* (13 mph average or over). PARTY pace for more social riders (13mph ave pace or under). 

Bike: Gravel, road, or MTB with tires of 28c or over.

Optional: Post-ride coffee or creemees in town

VTYC offers mountain bike racing and riding opportunities to young people throughout Vermont by providing a season of interscholastic races, group rides and clinics, trail stewardship and family fun.

Stowe Gravel Worlds

Time: 7:00am on Saturday mornings, mid May - Labor Day

Where: Stowe movie theatre
Pace: 4-5 challenging climbs done at a hard pace, then regroup at the top. Varying level of riders often split into 2 groups.
Route: 33 miles, about 4k of climbing. Full details
